What the site survey covers
- Walk the actual floor plan — measuring space, storage locations and how goods move.
- Capture real throughput: transactions per day, SKU count and receiving/issuing cycles.
- Check Wi-Fi coverage and dead zones that would affect handheld use.
- Interview the people who actually do the work, not just management.
- Review the existing stack — ERP, accounting and any spreadsheets still running alongside.

- A write-up of current processes and where time or accuracy is being lost.
- A phased scope proposal, with the reasoning for what belongs in phase one.

Questions About System Deployment
Do you charge for the site survey?
No — the initial survey and assessment are free. We treat it as part of quoting, so the scope reflects the real site rather than a guess made over the phone.
Do we have to replace our existing ERP?
No. We integrate with your existing ERP or accounting system through a REST API or file exchange — the warehouse system runs the floor and posts results back into what you already use.
Where should we start if we have never used a system before?
Start where errors are most frequent — usually receiving and stock counting, because results show quickly and little hardware is needed. Picking or production warehousing can follow in a later phase.
How long before the system is actually in use?
It depends on scope and how ready your master data is. Projects starting with receiving and counting typically move faster than ones integrating several ERP systems at once. We give a timeline after the survey.
