Questions Buyers Ask First
What is the difference between wax, wax/resin and resin ribbons?
Wax is the cheapest and suits paper labels that avoid abrasion and damp. Wax/resin resists scuffing and moisture better and works on paper and some films. Resin is the toughest — chemical and heat resistant — for synthetic film labels that must last or face harsh conditions.
Can labels be made to a custom size?
Yes — we produce to the size and material the job needs: paper, waterproof film and various adhesives. Tell us the label size, labels per roll, the core your printer takes and the operating conditions, and we will recommend the most cost-effective material.
Which labels survive cold storage or getting wet?
Use synthetic film labels with a resin ribbon, and an adhesive rated for low temperature — ordinary adhesive will not bond to a cold or wet surface. Tell us the temperature and the surface and we can match it properly.
