Common Questions About This Product
What is the difference between a wet and a dry inlay?
A wet inlay comes with adhesive already applied, so it can be stuck down directly or laminated to a face material. A dry inlay has no adhesive and needs a separate converting step.
Can this 13.56 MHz tag be read by a phone?
Yes, when fitted with an NXP NTAG213/215/216, which is NFC Forum compliant and readable and writable from any NFC phone. The ICODE SLIX variant is ISO 15693, which only some phones support.
Is it genuinely waterproof?
The PET substrate is waterproof and handles moisture and splashing. It is not designed for permanent immersion or industrial washing — for repeated laundering use the dedicated laundry tag.
