Common Questions About This Product
Why do ordinary RFID tags fail on metal?
Metal reflects radio waves and detunes the antenna, so a standard tag stops responding when stuck to it. An anti-metal tag places an isolation layer between the antenna and the surface.
What read range does it give on metal?
About 3–6 m when mounted on metal. That is shorter than a standard tag on an ordinary surface, but ample for counting assets with a handheld reader.
How is it mounted?
With 3M adhesive or screws. The FR4/PCB housing is rugged and IP67-rated, so it holds up on machinery and IT equipment in real working environments.
